HD Military Sales Launches 2nd Official H.O.G. Military Chapter

On 31 March 2010, the second official H.O.G Military Chapter launch was held at our Harley-Davidson showroom at the KMCC Mall in Ramstein, Germany. The thrill of riding a Harley brought twenty-five new members together with our newly appointed Chapter Director, veteran rider and H.O.G. member Eddie Kane. The group met to share stories & experiences, and made plans for future rides and to have fun. The Ramstein Military Chapter is well on its way with all primary officer positions fielded and most of the discretionary officers listed as "back-ups" in case of deployment.

This is to signify the second military H.O.G. chapter in the world!
"The members were thrilled at the opportunity to become a part of this chapter while serving abroad" said special guest Kris Schoonover, Director of H.O.G. Field Operations who was also on site for the launch. "They can't wait to begin riding and having fun together and have given their commitment to log some miles in the near future. They are also looking forward to riding together on H.O.G.'s Million Mile Monday event on June 28, 2010".
Our official on-base H.O.G. Military Chapter program gives the Military Community a reason to share in the camaraderie of a H.O.G. Chapter and engages members into the Harley family while deployed. We have the ability to provide a form of service to fellow riders and to those who serve our Country by conducting targeted meetings in an environment that customers can be proud of.
Did You Know??? H.O.G. Military Memberships are GROWING worldwide!
Since September 2009, our military customers have received their H.O.G. membership at the time of purchase, and have been enjoying some of their benefits while still deployed!
U.S. Military customers who order overseas and take stateside delivery receive their H.O.G membership kit when they place their order for a Harley-Davidson. Membership kit includes:
- U.S. H.O.G. membership card
- A H.O.G. pin and patch (if they are a already a member and are past their first year of membership, they would receive a renewal pin and patch for that year instead of the HOG pin and patch)
- H.O.G Membership Manual
- An Americas Touring Handbook
- H.O.G.'s US magazine while outside of the US.
- ApPersonal letter from retired Navy Admiral & H.O.G. General Manager of Operations, Benny Suggs
- An additional free year added to their membership upon their return home.
